The newest Ford F-150 boasts a massive increase in capability from the outgoing 2017 model. The upcoming model will feature a best-in-class 13,200 lb. maximum towing capacity when equipped with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine. That engine delivers an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque and results in a 1,000-lb. increase from the 2017 model.
In addition to its segment-leading towing capability, the Ford F-150 leads its class in payload as well. When equipped with the 5.0-liter V8 engine, the 2018 F-150 can haul up to 3,270 lb., topping the nearest competitor by more than 1,000 lb.
When it comes to fuel economy, the Ford F-150 proves its worth by getting the most out of every drop. The available 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine, when mated with the 10-speed automatic transmission, earns up to an EPA-estimated 20/26 mpg city/highway* with two-wheel drive.
