Ford Unveils 2016 Ford Explorer Configurator
For those of you that are waiting to get your hands on the 2016 Ford Explorer, you still have a bit longer to wait. In the meantime, though, you can keep your hands busy by creating your dream Explorer with the new 2016 Ford Explorer configurator, which Ford introduced just last week. For the starting price of $30,700, you can receive the base model and then fix it up with any accessories you please.
The 2016 Explorer lineup includes the base Explorer, the XLT, which has increased $400 to $33,400, the Limited, which is sold for $41,300, and the Sport model, for the price of $43,300. Ford’s newest Explorer model also offers the new Platinum model, which starts at $52,600. Depending on the accessories you choose to add to each level, prices can change. The Limited’s price jump is due mostly to the voice-activated navigation system, which comes as a standard feature this year. Last year, it was part of a $2,600 option package. A 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is also available on the Limited trim.
The number of features you can add to your Explorer are endless, so make sure you check out the 2016 Ford Explorer configurator today and contact Packey Webb Ford for any questions you have about the all-new SUV.
