Three Historic Ford SEMA Awards Given to Mustang, F-Series, and Focus

2015 Ford F-150Ford had an enormous presence at the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, showcasing some of its best current models and special editions of a few of its most loved products.

Among the Ford vehicles on display, three won titles: the Ford Mustang, Ford Focus, and Ford F-Series, which respectively were named Hottest Car, Hottest Sport-Compact and Hottest Truck of the year.

This is the first time in the history of the SEMA Show that one manufacturer has taken home those three titles, making this a landmark win for Ford. It was also a big win for the Ford Focus, which has never won a SEMA title before, though the F-Series and Mustang models have won their share over time.

The very fact that three vehicles of different shapes and forms – the flashy Mustang, the powerful F-Series, and the fuel-efficient Focus – each won an award for Ford just goes to show how diverse and popular the current Ford lineup truly is.
